"THE SECRET" WEEKLY DEVOTIONAL 29-06-2015.

"I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the LORD, will do for you." - Exodus 34:10

    The word of God is coming to us this week telling us that God is making a covenant with me and with you. A covenant involves at least two people. "I am making a covenant with you" - This shows a present continuous tense. This means this is what God is doing now. Five years ago, God was making a covenant; ten years time, God's covenant will still stand. The word of God doesn't change.

     The Lord is telling us today that he is set to do wonderful things for us - that will cause everybody around us to marvel. He said he will do things that have not been done before. There are things we probably wish for but feel we may not get because nobody around us has gotten those things. But God is telling us today that he's taking us to great places that nobody in our family or even generation has gotten to. God is ready to give us testimonies that will draw people to him. All we need to do is key into this and hold God by his word.

    Know THE SECRET, believe/have faith in IT and work towards IT whole heartedly and IT will surely work for you this week and forever. Have a marvellous week ahead week ahead.

"THE SECRET" WEEKLY DEVOTIONAL 22-06-2015.

 

"I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight...." - Isaiah 45:2a

     God has great plans, wonderful expectations and magnificent purpose for us. But lot of times, to execute this plan and purpose often looks so stressful and even impossible due to the trials, challenges, obstacles etc that we face on the rugged path to excellence.

     But this morning, THE SECRET reveals to us that our God has promised to go ahead of us in everything we want to do (or that we are doing) to prepare things for us, clear all danger/obstacles that might be on our path and also to make the road enjoyable for us by clearing, smoothing, tarring and straightening it - much more better than Julius Berger, RCC etc will do.

     God expects us to DO something. He expects us to MOVE with the confidence that he has cleared road for us. Obstacles can come in form of failures, financial problems or even in human form. No matter the obstacles, we shouldn't be afraid to start what we have before us or continue with what we have started. We should have the confidence that God knows all that is ahead of us and has gone before us to remove every obstacles that may be on our way.

     Take the bold step today and don't panic or be fearful of what is ahead of you in whatever you are doing (or want to do) - be it exam, interview, business, work, carrier, marriage, family etc - because our God has made the journey stress free for us. But never forget to always put Him first in all you do and let Him take the lead.

"THE SECRET" WEEKLY DEVOTIONAL 15-06-2015.

 

"....for I will not leave you until I have finished giving you everything I have promised you" - Genesis 28:15b

     THE SECRET for this week reveals to us that God is with us always and that He has great plans we His children. It also shows us that He is not done with us yet and that He will not stop working on us until we have become who he wants us to be. He will not stop attending to our matter until (all) his promises have come to fulfilment in our lives. There are lot of promises He has made with us that hasn't been fulfilled. Notwithstanding, we don't have to be discouraged that it is over for us because He won't leave us until He fulfils all these promises. The good part there's that, all these promises are not just for you, but also for your generations yet unborn, which means God will never leave you.

     Therefore, let's hold on to whatever he has promised to do for us and wherever he has promised to take us. God doesn't leave his business unfinished. Whatever he has started, he will surely complete and perfect it. Trust him to help you out in whatever He has placed in your hands.

     And as we are waiting patiently for Him to complete His work in our life, He assures us that He will never leave us. He will always be there to guide, help and comfort us. So we don't have to panic or be fearful. Let's always walk with this confidence that He is always with us and let's always live our lives like we are really carriers of God's presence and that we are true children of God. You matter in His sight and He will never forsake you.

If Ex-president JONATHAN didn't have shoes before he became the President, but now he wears different shoes as he likes... Who told you that you would continue being poor?

If 2Face could finally repent and marry Annie... Who told you that your current boyfriend/girlfriend will not marry you?

If JUDAS could sell his boss JESUS... Who told you that your best friend would not do more than that?

If they could tie a COW with just a rope despite its size, but must use a strong chain to hold a dog... Who is that person that says you are worse than nothing?

If…if..if……..then who is the person telling you this or that to discourage you.

Don't worry too much about your current situation, just believe in yourself and you will surely be what you think of yourself.

ROMANUS AT WAR

During an English lesson, the teacher instructed the students to write a composition. Question: Assume you are in a war, write a story on your experience?

Romanus did not write anything and kept seated. The teacher got puzzled, walked to Romanus' desk and asked him why he was not doing the exercise.

Romanus replied, "I was killed immediately at the beginning of the war, so I don’t have anything to write."

Don't know if anyone can help me answer some questions that baffles me. Questions like;

·      Do fish ever get thirsty?

·      Why don't birds fall off from trees when they are asleep?

·      When they say that dog food is new and improved, who tasted it?

·      If money doesn't grow on trees, why do banks have branches?
