"THE SECRET" WEEKLY DEVOTIONAL  16-02-2015.

     A senior colleague's wife gave birth to a bouncing baby boy on 14th of February (valentine's day), after five years in marriage,  and looking at the scene, I could see him overwhelmed with joy and rapturous delight, looking at the baby, while holding his wife quietly, somehow lost for words but just whispering into her ears, "you have given me the best valentine gift ever".

     The next minute, he is up on his feet feeling his heart will burst as he sings his way down the hospital corridor and out into the car park, while people stare at him. This made me think, if a man can be this happy with something/someone/an achievement, how much more our heavenly father, who looks at us and He is happy about us, His beloved.

     The scene then gives me a better understanding of Zephaniah 3:17, "The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love he will no longer rebuke you, BUT WILL REJOICE OVER YOU WITH SINGING.”

     What a promised-filled verse. Can you just imagine our heavenly father singing? Whaooow, our God singing? Remember that it was merely a spoken word that brought the universe into existence. What would now happen if God lifted up his voice and not only spoke but sang?

     When I think of the voice of Him singing, I hear the booming of Niagara Falls mingled with the blast of Mt. Everest together with the power of an East Coast hurricane. I hear the unimaginable roar of the sun 865,000 miles thick, one million three hundred thousand times bigger than the earth, and nothing but fire and so on. But I hear this unimaginable roar sounding as a tender, warm, soothing voice. And just as I imagined this singing, I stood dumbfounded, staggered, speechless that he is singing over me, He is rejoicing over my good with all his heart and with all his soul.

      Try to feel the wonder of this today, that God is rejoicing over you with loud singing. Even if you have no one, know that you have a great father who is very proud of you. And as HE is rejoicing over you, He also assures you that He is with you always. Never let Him down, and this promise will forever work for you.

    Know THE SECRET, believe/have faith in IT and work towards IT whole heartedly and IT will surely work for you this week and forever.
