During election period, myself
and some friends went to watch football at a viewing centre, on our way home
after the match we were arrested by MOPOL for moving during curfew hours. They
noticed we were all putting on jersey and they decided they’ll cane us according
to the numbers on each person’s jersey. Fortunately for me, I was putting on a goalkeeper’s
jersey that day and was given just a stroke of the cane. The next person was
putting on Messi’s jersey and was given 10 strokes. The third guy was putting
on Balotteli’s AC Milan jersey and was given 45 strokes. On getting to the next
guy, we noticed he was already crying furiously, we didn’t understand the major
reason for the cry until we saw what he was putting on, “VOTE GEJ TILL 2015”
