“The eternal God is MY refuge, and HIS everlasting arms are under ME.” - Deuteronomy 33:27
As I was going through THE SECRET
of today’s text, I recalled an old song written by Ada Habershon. “When
I fear my faith will fail, Christ will hold me fast; when the tempter would
prevail, He can hold me fast.” What a good theology!
I once heard the story of a woman who was
facing difficult trials and troubling circumstances. She went to her pastor at
the close of sermon one Sunday and said, “I’m very much afraid I might fall.”
Her pastor replied, “Well, why don’t you just do that?” “But Pastor,” she
protested, “where would I fall to?” “You would fall down into the everlasting
arms of God, came his reply. His everlasting arms are underneath His children
and I believe that if you fall down upon those everlasting arms, it is sure and
certain that you will never fall through them.”
Yes, the believer can rest in the
unfailing strength and support of the omnipotent Father. He keeps assuring us
every now and then to let us know HE is with us. HE will strengthen us. HE will
help us. HE will uphold us with the right hand of HIS righteousness etc.
Remember
that, He who commanded “Peace, be still” to the wind and wave, still stands
with arms outstretched to save and keep us in His will. Always make God your
refuge, and you will forever experience everlasting peace under HIS arms. Just put
your solace in HIM always.
Know THE SECRET,
believe/have faith in IT and work towards IT whole heartedly and IT will surely
work for you this week and forever.
Have a splendid week ahead.
