OCCURENCE THAT MOTIVATED ME TO BECOME AN MC/EVENT PLANNER

ONE of the major things that motivated me to being in charge of events (MC) rather than sitting amongst the audience was an occurrence that happened sometimes ago.
At the reception of a wedding ceremony, I sat majestically at the front row together with some friends. As the servers started their work, they started sharing food, but rather than starting from the front, they started from the back (only God know why they did that). Unfortunately, it didn't reach those of us at the front.
Afterwards, they started sharing drinks and they started sharing from the front but unfortunately, we had already changed our seat to the back. Again, the drink finished before getting to our seat.
We were so furious, and as we stood up to take our leave, we saw three ladies each with a big bowl.
This time, we tried to be wise and play smart by seating at the middle. To our uttermost surprise, one of the ladies started sharing from the front and the second lady started distributing from the back as we saw that it was barbecue chicken with chapman they were sharing. Lo and behold, when they both got to the middle where we were, it all finished again.
Feeling so frustrated, we concluded, “No turning back, we are leaving”. BUT then, the third lady tapped one of us and stretched her bowl to us that we should pick our own. As we stretched our hand to collect the bowl, what did we find there? **TOOTHPICK**
This discouraged me from going to any event at all since then. It also taught me to always wait on the LORD as He will locate me where I am and never to change my faith/believe. God knows your seat! Don’t try to be smart and miss his blessing!
Anyways, now as an MC, my own share of anything shared is always packaged separately. Even if everyone doesn’t get, it’s certain that I – YOUR EVER SKIBANDICIOUS ENTERTAINER - will definitely get (wink/smiles).
